# ChatGPT MCP Integration
You can bring the financial expertise of Bigdata.com to your ChatGPT application as a Remote MCP.
## Prerequisites
To configure the Bigdata.com MCP connector in ChatGPT, you need one of the following subscriptions:
* **ChatGPT Plus** and **Pro** users
* **ChatGPT Business**, **Enterprise**, and **Edu** workspaces
**For Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces:** Although it's possible to configure the MCP custom connector using Developer mode, we recommend that ChatGPT subscription Admins configure the connector so it becomes available to all employees within the ChatGPT subscription. This ensures consistent access and centralized management.
## Configuration Steps
The Bigdata.com MCPs require user authentication to access your Bigdata.com subscription. ChatGPT will delegate the authentication to Bigdata.com using the standard OAuth flow.
We will establish the trust between ChatGPT and Bigdata.com with OAuth Credentials. Please send us an email to **[support@bigdata.com](mailto:support@bigdata.com)** to request the `Client ID` and `Client Secret` that you will use in a following step.
Open ChatGPT and browse to the Apps & Connectors page:
1. Go to [https://chatgpt.com](https://chatgpt.com)
2. Go to **Profile**
3. Select **Workspace settings**
4. Go to **Apps & Connectors**
5. Click **Select**, and a new window will pop up. We will confgure the details in the next step.
Now, fill out the form with the following details:
* **Icon**: You can download the icon from here
* **Name**: `Bigdata.com` (or any name you prefer)
* **MCP Server URL**: `https://mcp.bigdata.com/`
* **OAuth Client ID**: The ` Client ID` you received from [support@bigdata.com](mailto:support@bigdata.com)
* **OAuth Client Secret**: The `Client Secret` you received from [support@bigdata.com](mailto:support@bigdata.com)
Click on `I understand and want to continue` and finally click on `Create`
To make the connector available for use:
1. Press **Publish** next to the new Bigdata.com connector
2. A new window will pop up where the permissions requirements have to be accepted
3. Press the **Publish** button
🥳🚀 Congratulations! The Bigdata.com Connector is now available for all users within the Workspace.
## Using the Connector
Once the Bigdata.com connector has been configured and published by your workspace admin, you can connect to it and start using Bigdata.com MCP tools in your ChatGPT conversations.
Open [https://chatgpt.com](https://chatgpt.com) in your browser and navigate to **Settings** > **Apps & Connectors**.
Click on the **Bigdata.com** Connector, then click the **Connect** button to establish the connection.
You will be redirected to Bigdata.com to authenticate. Log in with your Bigdata.com credentials to authorize the connection.
After connecting:
1. Close the Settings window
2. Open a new chat in ChatGPT
3. Select the **Bigdata.com MCP** from the available tools/connectors
You can now use Bigdata.com MCP tools in your conversations!
