  The **Country Economic Profile** and **Country-Sector Analysis** macro workflows have been significantly upgraded to produce more analytically rigorous, research-grade reports.

  ### Country Economic Profile Enhancements

  * **Structural & Historical Context**: New research steps and output sections covering sector transformation over time, labor productivity by sector, and structural narrative.
  * **Debt & Fiscal Mechanics**: Added search steps and reporting for debt composition (domestic vs external), debt servicing costs, public financial management (PFM) reforms, and Tax-to-GDP ratio analysis with peer comparisons.
  * **Substantive Labor Market Coverage**: Expanded from headline figures to include informality, underemployment, youth unemployment, real wages vs productivity, and sectoral employment gaps.
  * **FDI Trajectory**: New section covering foreign direct investment inflows/outflows, sector and source breakdowns, and outlook drivers.
  * **Dedicated Policy Recommendations**: A required, structured section with recommendations across fiscal consolidation, debt management, monetary policy, and structural reforms — with sourced targets where available.
  * **Audience Suitability**: Reports now adapt depth for academic/research, development finance, and investor audiences.

  ### Country-Sector Analysis Enhancements

  * **Per-Company Analysis Blocks**: Each selected company now receives its own dedicated subsection with investment view, strengths, risks, and catalysts — no more merged company overviews.
  * **Neutral / Hold / Watch Category**: A new classification tier ensures every company selected for analysis appears in the investment recommendations, even when they don't fit as top picks or areas to avoid.

  * **Country-Sector Analysis**: Combine a country's macroeconomic backdrop with sector-specific analysis, covering policy environment, sector leaders, and investment implications (e.g., "US Technology", "India Financials").
  * **Cross-Sector Comparison**: Compare sectors on valuations, earnings growth, and sentiment with economic cycle positioning and rotation recommendations.
  * **Thematic Research**: Analyze macro investment themes such as AI, energy transition, deglobalization, and interest rates with sector and geographic impact matrices.
  * **Regional Comparison**: Compare G7/G20 economies across growth, policy, valuations, currency, and cross-asset views with allocation recommendations.

  ### Additional Improvements

  * Intelligent routing between Public Company and Macro Economics workflows based on user requests.
  * Professional output templates with source attribution for all macro workflows.
  * Fallback search strategies when specific tools are unavailable.
