You can bring the financial expertise of Bigdata.com to your Claude application as a Remote MCP.

Prerequisites

To configure the Bigdata.com MCP connector in Claude and Claude Desktop, you need one of the following subscriptions:
  • A Claude Pro or Max individual plan.
  • A Claude Team or Enterprise plan.
Only Primary Owners or Owners can enable it on Claude for Work (Team and Enterprise) plans. Once a connector has been configured on a Team or Enterprise organization, users individually connect to and enable that connector. This ensures that Claude can only access tools and data that the individual user has access to.

Configuration Steps

Request OAuth Credentials

The Bigdata.com MCPs require user authentication to access your Bigdata.com subscription. Claude will delegate the authentication to Bigdata.com using the standard OAuth flow.We will establish the trust between Claude and Bigdata.com with OAuth Credentials. Please send us an email to [email protected] to request the Client ID and Client Secret that you will use in a following step.

Open Connectors Settings

Open Claude and browse to the Apps & Connectors page:
  1. Go to https://claude.ai
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Select Admin settings
  4. Go to Connectors
  5. Click on Add custom connector, and a new window will pop up.

Create the Connector

Now, fill out the form with the following details:
  • Name: Bigdata.com (or any name you prefer)
  • MCP Server URL: https://mcp.bigdata.com/
  • OAuth Client ID: The Client ID you received from [email protected]
  • OAuth Client Secret: The Client Secret you received from [email protected]
Click on Add to finalise the configuration.Claude new Custom Connector

Using the Connector

Once the Bigdata.com connector has been configured, you can connect to it and start using Bigdata.com MCP tools in your Claude conversations.

Open Claude Web App

Open https://claude.ai in your browser and navigate to Settings > Connectors.

Connect to Bigdata.com

Click on Connect at the Bigdata.com connector, and if you are still not logged in to Bigdata.com, it will redirect you to the login page.Claude Settings Apps & Connectors

Log in to Bigdata.com

Once the browser redirects to Bigdata.com, you can log in using your Bigdata.com credentials, and the browser will redirect you back to Claude after a successful login into the Bigdata.com App.Bigdata.com Login

Configure tool permissions

To provide a smooth experience, we recommend configuring the tool to use the “Always allow” permission so Claude can query Bigdata.com without manual confirmation.Bigdata.com LoginBigdata.com Login
